Scope and Content: ‘Muxiphobia’ is a work produced in 2021. It was first exhibited at ‘Chestnut tree-Dokkaebi-Bunjae’, held from September 29 to October 14, 2021, at Gallery175 (currently K-ARTS Art Space). The work consists of a 3D-modeled image of an iPhone with a mirror texture printed and attached to the gallery wall. This image was then photographed from the same angle as a CCTV feed, reprinted, and layered over the original 3D-modeled image. Viewers are restricted from seeing the primary image up close, forced instead to view it through the distant perspective recorded in the secondary image.
